Dipped coated water blocking aramid yarn for cable

Short Description:

The water- blocking yarn is easy to use, its process is simplified and its structure is stable. It blocks water reliably in clean environment without producing any oily contamination. It is mainly applicable to cable core wrapping of waterproof telecommunication cable, dry-type optical cable and cross linked polyethylene insulation power cable. Especially for submarine cables, the water- blocking yarn is the most ideal choice.

Product Description

Water-blocking yarn, a new product - porous fiber water-swelling water –blocking yarn used for the water blocking of new types of dry-type optical cables, is developed and produced by the Company based on new water-blocking technologies in optical and electric cable production at home and abroad. It is characterized by advantages like fast water absorption speed, high expansion ratio, strong tension stress, no acid and base, no compatible effect exerted on cables, thermo stability, chemical stability and non-corrosiveness etc. In the manufacturing process of optical cables, the filling of materials like cable jelly, water-blocking tape and fastening yarn etc. can be omitted.
